Easter Seals offers individuals with physical disabilities the chance to enjoy summer camp activities with able-bodied campers, including boating, archery, campfires, swimming and more. Explorers Camp offers all the experiences of a typical recreational summer camp while allowing campers to participate on their own terms. The program is geared towards youth with social challenges who will benefit from a small group setting, more 1:1 time with counselors, and fewer emotional triggers or stimulation during or between activities. This is a true integrated program that provides a slower pace, more flexibility with transitioning between activities, and specially trained staff.
